22th december - Photo Contest: here the winners!

"The photography is the best way to explain the art of the Bodypainting, mixing in the subject the model and the painting that gives an universal message of maternity that goes over the simple image". This was the explanation of the picture made by Michele Bonneau from Mestre (VE) with the title "Aspettandoti" that won the contest of the 10th edition of the Italian Bodypainting Festival, the Italian championship of the painted bodies. 

In the top three there are also "Senza Titolo 1" made by Umberto d'Eramo from l'Aquila, and "Shift your Energy" made by Andrea Picchi from Casumaro (Ferrara). 

The jury was composed by Andrea Peria, Graziano Zanin, Gianpaolo Prando, Massimo Rainato, Antonio Cunico e Roberto Nordio.

It's official. The Italian Bodypainting Festival, the Italian Championship of the painted bodies, will be on friday 3rd, saturday 4th and sunday 5th June 2016, always on the Lake Garda, in Bardolino, the italian capital of bodypainting. Three days of art, colors and fun.

A special thank to the Municipality that has always supported this event, hosting it in a great place like Parco Carrara Bottagisio.

We would like to promote an interesting event about photography by Umberto D'Eramo that is settled in this days (till the 15th November) in the Don Giovanni Hotel **** in Sambuca, near Agrigento, in Sicily. The pictures have been realised during the Italian Bodypainting Championship on the 18th and 19th July in Bardolino, and can be seen also in this photo gallery http://www.uif-net.com/mostre_soci/deramo/index2.html.

The event is promoted in more than 150 commercial activities in the Sicilian town with this playbill.

30th september

The Italian Champions of Bodypainting will perform in Gardaland on Saturday 3rd October, with the theme "Halloween in multicolour". Marzia Bedeschi, Benedetta Carugati, Roberta Moscheo, Barbara Passarini, Lucia Postacchini, Francesca Tariciotti ed Eleonora Vallese will open the season "Gardaland Magic Halloween". The guests will have the chance to see them working live and become themselves objects of art. Till 1.00 pm the artists can paint a little part of the body for everyone who desires it: AAA Looking for Monsters!

The day will have as special guests Francesca Piccinini, the Italian legend, as well as the most appreciated athlete of the Women Volleyball. Beloved and famous for all her audience, the beauty of Tuscany, this year playing for Casalmaggiore, will try to do the Treble, but she's also looking forward to the Olympic Games of Rio 2016. Together with her in the amusement park there will be also the funny and crazy Andrea Lucchetta, legend of the Italian volleyball of the "wonder generation".

25th september

It's Marzia Bedeschi from Vicenza who has won the second edition of "Kermesse Di Bodypainting", on the 20th September in the Park of Kentie in Riposto, near Catania, Sicily. Second place for Lucia Postacchini, from Marche, and third place for Maurizio Fruzzetti, from Tuscany.

The jury was composed by the president, Matteo Arfanotti, Italian and world Champion, by the painter Ennio Bettoni, the mayor Enzo Carigliano, the art critic Nilla Zaira d'Urso and the teacher Maria Pia Fiumara.

Great satisfaction for the production by Simone Stella and Giovanna Patanè, part of the Association Sfumature d'Arte, who are already working for the next edition.

Marzia Bedeschi is the third painter that has gained the right to participate freely to the next edition of the Italian championship, thanks to the project "Italian Bodypainting's Friends".

17th september

Claudia La Monica won the ”Best Performance 2015", model painted by Silvia Vitali, she has won the prize for the best performance in 2015 Italian Bodypainting championship. With her on the stage also Elisa Bolzoni, Josee N'Zi, Simonetta Scafa, Rachele Ravanesi and Tiziana La Monica.

Some minutes later Silvia Vitali will win the title of 2015 Italian Champions for the category "Brush and Sponge".

17th september

Lucia Postacchini, from Fermo (on the left her painting on the model Michela Luciani) is the second artist that wins the right to participate in the 2016 Italian championship. Also "Bodypainting in Vetrina", an event with a great success in its first edition, takes part in the project "Italian Bodypainting's Friends". Lucia won the title, as Elisa Bolzoni (the first painting on the right on the model Alessia Ferrazzoli) was second and in the third position there was Barbara Passarini with her "faithful" model Giulia Rocambole.

The Jury was composed by the 2012, 2014 and 2015 champions Matteo Arfanotti (World Champion in 2013), Marilena Censi and Silvia Vitali, together with Alessandra Giacomelli, make up artists.

Everything was perfectly organized by Tiziana La Monica together with the municipality, the ProLoco and the Tourist Promotion Association, that are happy to confirm the 2016 edition.

17th september

Barbara Passarini from Cento, Ferrara (on the left her painting on the model Giulia Rocambole), 2015 Italian Champion of Facepainting, is the first artist that wins the free pass for the Italian Bodypainting Festival 2016, that will be next year in Bardolino, Lake Garda. She won the third edition of "Bodypainting nelle Dolomiti", that was on sunday 30th August in Auronzo di Cadore, Belluno. The contest it's part of the project "Italian Bodypainting's Friends" and that's why the winner will take part in the Italian Bodypainting Championship of the next year.

Second place for Gilberta Bianchin from Montebelluna (TV) with the model Sabrina Tormena and third place for Luana Bertotti, winner of the Amateurs Category in the 2015 Italian Championship, with the model Elisa Pocchiesa.

The Jury was composed by the world champion Alex Hansen, the photographer Davide Da Damos, Isa Cargnel and Marco Buset.

All the congratulations to Elisa Del Favero for the great organization. The appointment is for the next year, in this wonderful corner of the Dolomites, to win the Wood Trophy (in the photo on the right), created by Gigi Pelico from Padola di Comelico Superiore, Belluno, only for this great Festival.

14th september

Everything is ready for the "Kermesse di Bodypainting" in Sicily in the Park of the Kentie in Riposto, in the county of Catania.

The most colored event of Sicily, with artists coming from all over Italy, it's on its second edition and is part of the calendar "Riposto Summer Event" and has the participation of the municipality and of the Italian Bodypainting Festival, taking part in "Italian Bodypainting's Friends". The winner will have the right to participate freely to the next edition of the Italian Bodypainting Championship.

The event, supported also by music shows, artistic performances and a hand-made market is organized by the Artistic Association "Sfumature d'Arte", collaborating with Andrea Peria.

"Bodypainting in vetrina" is the next event for all the fans of this kind of art. It will be settled in Lido di Camaiore (LU), in the Lungomare Europa, on Saturday 12th September and will start at 10 am. The theme of the contest will be "Fantasy tales & Fantasy Art".

Organized by the Proloco of Camaiore, together with the support of the Municipality and the Union of Touristic Promotion, this contest takes part in "Italian Bodypainting's Friends". The best artist will have the right to take part in the next Italian Bodypainting Championship.

Only two weeks for the third edition of "Bodypainting nelle Dolomiti" that will be settled in Auronzo di Cadore, near Belluno.

Also this event has the partnership with the Italian Bodypainting Festival, taking part in the project "Italian Bodypainting's Friends". The best artist of this contest will participate the next year in the Italian Bodypainting Championship.

Here are some pics of the winners. A bunch of colors, two great days, a great public that we've never seen. A SUCCESS! It was a 10th edition that gave us incredible days (also incredibly hot!!) also to the more than 40 artists from all around Italy, Europe and from over the ocean. And the Festival has celebrated the 4 Italian champions in the categories Airbrush, Special Effects, Facepainting and Sponge and Brush, and also the best in the category Amateurs..

The 10th edition of the Italian Bodypainting Championship is getting closer.

We’ll wait for you on the 18th and 19th of July in Bardolino, on the Garda Lake, to enjoy the Italian Bodypainting Festival.

This 10th edition of the Italian Bodypainting Championship, on the 18th and 19th July in Bardolino, on the Lake Garda, is getting more and more interesting with enjoyable opportunities: every painter, assistant and model registered to the Festival will have the chance to enjoy two wonderful days in two famous Parks on the Lake Garda. 
The challengers will have a free entrance to Gardaland on Monday 20th July, the first amusement park in Italy, a day trip to enjoy friendly in all its attractions, with the great new "Oblivion", the new vertical vertical drop roller coaster,
Alternatively you can choose to spend a relaxing day in the famous Parco Sigurtà, a work of art of Mother Nature. NOTE: for this last one the ticket can be used until Sunday 8th November 2015.
The Italian Festival isn't just a competition but also an artistic exchange, a friendship place, where you can meet with all the world of the Italian Bodypainting and this event is a great chance to enjoy relaxing days getting in touch with a lot of artists.

We have published the rules of the Photography and Video Contest of the 10th edition of the Italian Body Painting Championship. You can download it in this page.
The jury is composed by Graziano Zanin, delegate of FIAF Veneto, by Gianpaolo Prando, delegate of the FIAF for Venice province, by Massimo Rainato, Director of the Web Department of the FIAF, by Antonio Cunico of the Photoclub "Il Punto Focale" from Vicenza, by Roberto Nordio of the Photograpy club "L'Obiettivo di Dolo" from Venice and by Andrea Peria, director of photography and video of the Festival.

16th april

"Fa.Bene Bodypaiting Contest" was held last sunday in Faenza. The winner of the second edition is Barbara Passarini, from Cento (Ferrara), with her assistant Francesca Alberghini and the model Cristina Cavicchi (in the center of the picture by Stefano Cippo Lombardi). Marzia Bedeschi was ranked second and Maurizio Fruzzetti third. The jury was composed by Leonardo Giacomo Borghese, Arianna Barlini and Alessandro Piva.
Twenty-two artists from all Italy have challenged in the contest and they created their work of art interpreting the theme "Emotion at the Cinema". Artists and models were hosted in the Faenza Benessere Festival, who has confirmed the third edition in 2016 after the great audience of this edition.
The event was managed by Marilena Censi, Italian Champion in 2014. In this link we'll publish soon all the pictures of the works of art.

The contest is a partner in the project "Friends" and allows the winner to take part for free in the 10th edition of the Italian Championship, on 18th and 19th July in Bardolino, on the Lake Garda. Let's take part! Join the Bodypainting!

The "Parco Giardino Sigurtà" will sponsor also the 10th edition, one of the most prestigious partner of the Italian Bodypainting Festival.

We're finally preparing our next edition of the Italian Bodypainting Festival, the Italian championship of the painted bodies, that will be settled on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July 2015 in Bardolino, on the lake of Garda, and we'll celebrate our tenth anniversary this year! The theme of this edition will be"Feed your body, feed your soul"

We have important news with a new regulation that will be published soon. The most important news is about the  division of the championship in four official categories: Brush and Sponge, Airbrush, Special Effects, Facepainting and Amateurs.

The program will be: Friday 19th July: pre-festival with a workshop about Bodypainting technics; Saturday 18th July: champioship of the categories Brush and Sponge and Amateur Bodypainter; Sunday 19th July: championship of the categories Airbrush, Special Effects and Facepainting.

We're waiting for you the next summer, just to enjoy a fabulous weekend full of colors, art and fun, and with some surprises! ….

Also “FA.BENE BODYPAINTING CONTEST” joins the project "Italian Bodypainting Friends, after "Corpi In Arte" (in the first days of August in Sciacca, Sicily) and "Bodypainting nelle Dolomiti (in the end of August, in Auronzo Di Cadore).

The Festival (that is inside of the event of FAenza BENEssere, first national festival about natural wellness from orient to occident, that will be settled on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 Aprile in the Faenza Fair) will be settled on Sunday 12 April from 10:30 in the morning and the celebrations at 7:00 in the evening. Every artist will have 6 hours time to develop his work of art and can work also with an assistant. The theme of this edition is "Emotions at the Cinema".

The event is organized by Marilena Censi, 2014 Italian champion.
