BARDOLINO - LAKE GARDA

LOCATION

The italian Body painting championship will be settled in "Carrara Bottagisio" Park in Bardolino, on the east-coast of Lake Garda, overlooking the lake and about 200 meters far from the center of the town. A convenient and strategic location, where the fans and the curious ones can also enjoy a brief holiday on the Lake Garda and can visit one of the beatiful landscapes of Veneto.

 

Bardolino, worldwide famous for the red wine, can be easily reached:


- the nearest motorwayway exit (Affi - Lago di Garda Sud) is only 8 km far;


- the nearest railway station (Peschiera del Garda) is only 15 km far (there's also a public bus leading to Bardolino);


- the airport (Valerio Catullo - Verona) it's only 30 minutes by car and is connected with a low-cost bus

Bardolino can be the right place for a relaxing holiday on the Lake, but it's also a strategic starting point to visit some of the most famous places in Italy:


- many amusement parks are few km far;


- connected by water to all the other towns of the lake thanks to the ferry service;


- Monte Baldo can be reached in only 20 minutes by car, it's one of the highest mountains in Italy, that can be reached with a rotating cable, just to enjoy a stunning view of the lake;


- Verona is 35 km far, it's one of the most beatiful cities in the world, thanks to its histories and its tales, such as Romeo and Juliet;


- Venezia can be reached in 1 hour and a half by car;


- the beatiful "Dolomites" can be reached in 2 hours and a half by car
