And here we are, along with the notorious 13th edition of the Italian Bodypainting Championship … but of course we are going to get out of that luckier than before.

It’s the most important event of this art in Italy, and it’s dragging all the Artistic Movement always higher, thanks to the synergy of the other growing contests.
The festival will be set on 15, 16 e 17 june 2018, in a gorgeous location, on the lakeshore, in the new italian capital of Bodypainting: Garda, the city who gives the name to the biggest lake in Italy.
Our artistic kermesse is opening to foreign artists in 2018. In the individual categories, specific trophies coming up beside the Italian champions’ awards will be assigned during the three days.

27th june

The 12th edition, has consecrated the 5 Italian Champions 2017 of the Airbrush, Special Effects, Facepainting, Brush and Sponge and Open Team Categories, and the winners of the Bodypainting Amateur category.

22th may

For the second year we reconfirm the important collaboration with Eulenspiegel, the famous german brand of products for face and body painting. It will be our official supplier for the colours for the artist who, during the Italian Championship, on june 17th and 18th will paint the faces of the kids in the Parco Natura Viva area. Furthermore the first placed artist in the Special Effects category will receive as a prize a prestigious bag full of their products.

19th may

We have signed a new contract with Cantina Castelnuovo del Garda for another important collaboration in this 12th edition of the Italian Bodypainting Championship.

To all the artists and photographers who will regularly join our festival, the society cooperativa gardesana will offer a bottle of wine, one of the most typical and important product from Garda lake and its surroundings. 

15th may

Between our most important partners in this 12th edition of the Italian Bodypainting Festival, there will be also Parco Natura Viva.

A wedding that will be celebrated first in Saturday 17th and then on Sunday 18th with a corner about the park in lungolago regina Adelaide in Garda, where two estimated artists will transform the children faces in real animals. Then at the park, on Saturday 16th september, for the Red Panda day, an international day with special meetings between the scientific professional staff and the visitors who will prepare a special snack for the red pandas, and one of the last winners 2017 will paint a red panda on a model and another artist will paint the kids faces.

For all the artists, models and photographers regularly subscribed at the Italian Championship, there will be a free entry to the Parco Natura Viva available until 30th June 2017

27th april

A prize package sponsored by Superstar B.V., Bad Ass stencils, Lilatex and Y Body for the three best placed of the Italian Bodypainting Championship in the four categories "Brush and sponge", "Team Open", "Facepainting" and "Amateurs". And during the Festival, an equipped exhibition and selling point of these products, in collaboration with Magnum Shop of our friends Simona and Riccardo Conetta.

The agreement between the direction of the Festival and and Maayke & Marco van Lennep, owners of the Dutch Factory of the Superstar colours.

17 and 18 june: two very colourful days in lungolago Adelaide, in Garda, on Garda Lake.

Second episode of the Italian Bodypainting Festival 2016.

On Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th June, we are waiting for you on Lake Garda Veneto for the 12th edition of the Italian Bodypainting Championship, lungolago Regina Adelaide, in Garda, the new Italian capital of bodypainting.

Meanwhile we revive the past edition, with beautiful pictures and interviews with jury members Silvia Vitali, Alessandra Salardi, Paolo Mancini and Marilena Censi. And then to the artists Alessia Bosa, Annapaola Vitolo, Giulia Pastore, Jenny Corrò, Veronica Bassetto and Maria Vittoria Vanni.

Don’t miss the Hollywood Bodypainting Party on Saturday 17th June, in one of the most famous discos on the hills of Bardolino, with a great view on the lake.

The painted models will participate in a competition open only to them, with a parade and ceremony at 00.30 hours at 1.00.

At the entrance everyone will have to deliver the pass of Bodypainting Festival.

The "Parco Giardino Sigurtà" will sponsor also the 12th edition, one of the most prestigious partner of the Italian Bodypainting Festival.

Our artists will be featured in three days. The first is Sunday 2th April for the day "Tulipanintrucco"; the second is Sunday 14th may for "Rosatrucco"; the third is the now inevitable day "Truccati da Campione", scheduled for sunday 15th october, and you will see the partecipation of the top threein the category facepainting the Italian Championship, scheduled for sunday 18th june inGarda.

First video episode of the Italian Bodypainting Festival 2016.

Three months from the edition number 12 of the Italian Bodypainting Championship, scheduled on Lake Garda on Saturday 17 and Sunday, June 18 in Garda, the new Italian capital of bodypainting, let's review some stunning images of last summer, thanks to the collaboration with Verona Report.

In this first episode preview, interviews with the head of the photography section, Andrea Peria, and then to the artists Barbara Passarini,  Anna Lovato, Elisa Del Favero, Paola Di Salvo e Giuseppe Ciaccio, Sabrina Casini, Francesca Cavicchio, Giovanni Massimo Nardi, Maurizio Fruzzetti and Giulia Giuggiolini.

After the great success of the first edition, the “Bodypainting’s friends” second season is taking off. The affiliate contests to our Italian Championship of Bodypainting, along with the "Montecatini Body Art-Colour your skin contest", will takle the theme of “Casino and Night life”, to develop with the bodypaintng techniques, brush and sponge, using only professional colours appropriate for the body painting. Small applications and special effects are admitted, but they cannot go beyond the 20% of the body painting. Spray gun is not admitted. 

Artists are going to start to paint at 11.30 am, and the time allotted is 6 hours. A photographic set will be set up, where models will pose for photographers who will partecipate to the photographic contest “Colore sulla pelle 2017” organized by Bodypainting’s Friends.

The first place will entitle the winner to take part in the Italian Championships, scheduled 17th-18th June in Garda, Gardalake.

The event will entirely take place in a club, heated up and illuminated during the day. In the evening there will be a party until late night. It’s been organized by Annika Saks and Tiziana La Monica in collaboration with  Villa Resort di Montecatini, that hosts the event.
